Di-, tri- and tetrapeptides from the Khavinson short-peptide research programme, each studied in cell cultures, tissue explants or animal models of a particular tissue such as bronchial epithelium, liver, kidney, cartilage or vascular endothelium. The published evidence is preclinical and largely from one research network. Laboratory research use only, not for human or veterinary use.

Pinealon is the Glu-Asp-Arg (EDR) tripeptide from the Khavinson bioregulator family. Studied in cellular models of neuronal stress, oxidative injury and gene-expression responses.

    Cartalax

    (AED, Ala-Glu-Asp)

Cartalax is the Ala-Glu-Asp tripeptide from the Khavinson short-peptide family. Investigated in preclinical cartilage, connective-tissue and gene-expression models.

    Testagen

    (KEDG, Lys-Glu-Asp-Gly)

Testagen is the Lys-Glu-Asp-Gly tetrapeptide. Research focuses on short-peptide interactions with chromatin and endocrine or thymic tissue models; the evidence is primarily preclinical.

    Bronchogen

    (AEDL, Ala-Glu-Asp-Leu)

Bronchogen is the Ala-Glu-Asp-Leu tetrapeptide from the Khavinson short-peptide family, studied in bronchial epithelial cell cultures and limited rat models. No human outcomes are established.

    Cardiogen

    (AEDR, Ala-Glu-Asp-Arg)

Cardiogen is the Ala-Glu-Asp-Arg tetrapeptide in the Khavinson short-peptide family. Studied in cardiac tissue explants and cytoskeletal protein-expression models.

    Cortagen

    (AEDP, Ala-Glu-Asp-Pro)

Cortagen is the Ala-Glu-Asp-Pro tetrapeptide. Investigated in preclinical cerebral-cortex and neural tissue models within the Khavinson peptide research programme.

    Livagen

    (KEDA, Lys-Glu-Asp-Ala)

Livagen is the Lys-Glu-Asp-Ala tetrapeptide. Explored in hepatocyte cultures, liver-tissue models and experimental chromatin assays.

    Pancragen

    (KEDW, Lys-Glu-Asp-Trp)

    What you will find here

Short-peptide bioregulators are synthetic peptides of two to four amino acids described by Vladimir Khavinson and colleagues in St. Petersburg. Bronchogen (Ala-Glu-Asp-Leu), Livagen (Lys-Glu-Asp-Ala) and Ovagen (Glu-Asp-Leu) have been studied in bronchial, liver and kidney cell and tissue models respectively. Cartalax (Ala-Glu-Asp) appears in cartilage and connective-tissue models, and Vesugen (Lys-Glu-Asp) in vascular endothelial cultures. Epitalon (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) and Pinealon (Glu-Asp-Arg) are studied in pineal, telomerase and neuronal-stress models. Vilon (Lys-Glu) is the smallest sequence in the programme and is often used as a reference point for the others. The Gen-family bioregulators are sold only as sealed 10-vial packs; each product page states its sequence, the models it has been studied in and the limits of that evidence.
