GHK-Cu is the copper complex of the naturally occurring tripeptide glycyl-histidyl-lysine, studied for collagen synthesis and extracellular-matrix gene expression in dermal models. AHK-Cu (alanyl-histidyl-lysine copper) belongs to the same copper-peptide family and is studied mainly in hair-follicle and dermal-papilla models. SNAP-8, acetyl octapeptide-3, mimics the N-terminus of SNAP-25 and is used to study SNARE-complex assembly in cosmetic-science models.
