Chonluten peptide: Metabolic / Longevity research guide

In short: Chonluten (Glu-Asp-Gly / EDG, lab code T-34) is a synthetic tripeptide from the Khavinson short-peptide family, studied for inflammatory-cytokine expression in monocyte cell lines and gene expression in a rat gastric model. It is studied in preclinical (cell and animal) research and is supplied strictly for laboratory use, not for human or clinical use.

Not medical advice. Chonluten is a research compound. This guide does not provide dosing, diagnosis, therapy recommendations, or claims about effects in humans.

    What Chonluten is

Chonluten (Glu-Asp-Gly, "EDG") is a three-residue synthetic peptide from the Khavinson bioregulator family, studied for cytokine and signalling markers in a monocyte cell line and for gene expression in a rat gastric model.

One-paragraph overview from our research datasheet. Still scientific, but faster to read than the full mechanism list below.

    Research contexts

Peer-reviewed papers discuss Chonluten in specific lab settings. The points below reflect research questions, not health claims.

Research vs. personal use: Literature describes experiments in cells and animals. That is distinct from real-world use. Our products are for laboratory research only.

    Typical study contexts

  • Mitochondrial stress, NAD+/redox biology and nutrient-sensing pathways.
  • Enzyme activity, gene expression or endurance-style animal readouts.
  • Synthetic Glu-Asp-Gly (EDG) tripeptide from the Khavinson short-peptide lineage, lab code T-34.
  • Studied for MAP-kinase signalling and LPS-induced TNF and IL-6 expression in THP-1 monocyte cells.
  • Examined for antioxidant and anti-inflammatory gene expression in a rat gastric model.
  • Includes a reported null result for skin-explant proliferation.
  • Why Metabolic / Longevity research matters

Researchers study these compounds for mitochondrial function and cellular energy stress. Ageing and metabolic disease models are common.

    Mechanisms (technical review)

Our datasheet lists mechanistic themes from preclinical work. These are research endpoints, not health claims.

  • Common Questions People Are Asking

    What is Chonluten?

Chonluten is the name used for the synthetic tripeptide Glu-Asp-Gly (EDG), lab code T-34, in the Khavinson short-peptide literature. It is supplied here as a laboratory research powder only.

Which tissue is Chonluten matched to?

Sources disagree. One 2022 paper calls it a bronchial bio-regulator but tests it only in monocytes and endothelial cells; the group's own review table lists it as a gastroprotector and stress protector, citing a rat gastric paper and the patent. This page does not choose between them.

What does the research on Chonluten show?

In a human monocyte line it modulated MAP-kinase signalling and reduced LPS-induced TNF, though it alone gave a slight TNF release. A rat gastric abstract reports normalised antioxidant and anti-inflammatory mRNA, and in skin explants it did not stimulate proliferation. All of it is preclinical.

Is there a Certificate of Analysis for Chonluten?

Not yet. No independent analytical report has been published for this material, so no purity figure is quoted.

Is there human data on Chonluten?

No human study and no registered trial were found. Chonluten is sold strictly for in-vitro and preclinical research, not for human or veterinary use.

Is this page medical advice? Can I use Chonluten for my health?

No, and no. This article is educational only. We do not provide dosing, medical recommendations, or health claims. Our products are sold strictly for laboratory research, not for personal use of any kind.

Where do I find Chonluten specs, purity certificates and pricing?

Open the shop listing via “View product details.” There you will see concentration, purity grade, and available SKUs with current pricing. No current Certificate of Analysis is published for Chonluten yet; published certificates are listed at /coa.
